I am "Automattic78" on full tilt (which i use the most) and ultimate bet (which i've had the longest). Never know when I am gonna be on though. Usually late night or really early in the morning.

I play on poker stars and ultimate bet, legend721 on both. I haven't check out full tilt yet. Anyone have a review of it?

i think on pokerstars you can still get money if you get disconnected. i think you get a side pot from the time you were disconnected if you win. on full tilt poker if you get disconnected they give you about 90 seconds to re connect.

I was in a $10K tourney yesterday of 9,000 people and about 40 people before the money I reraised all in with AK suited. Dude had A-4 off and hit a str8 on the turn. So pissed.

I like the layout much better than Poker Stars. They also just started this thing called "Rush Poker" where if you are in a tourney, as soon as you fold, you start at a new table with 8 new players. You can play like 6-7 hands in a minute this way. Not sure if I like it, but it's an interesting idea.

do not go all in pre flop when you are playing with chips. people call anything with an ace. i have about 500k right now. i had it before and lost a bunch of it and then i eventually lost it all then got it back again. i say out of every 2 tournaments of 90 people who enter i make it to the final table once.

All in with A-K over A-4 is exactly what I wanted. It didn't work out, but I made the right play, and would have had a decent shot at hundreds if it had worked out.

Are you talking 500K in cash? Geesh. That's too rich for my bloo... errr, bank account.

So you mostly play SNG 90 person tourneys? I usually go for the big ones. You don't cash as often, but you make bank when you do.

Right now I'm trying to do the Ferguson thing - going from $0 to $10K. Following his rules and such. It will be interesting to see if I can do it, and if I can, maybe I should just do that for a living.

I have a real money PokerStars account but don't play that often. I'm not the type of person who can jump into a table and only play for a half-hour or something. I prefer the tourneys with about 500 people, but, that takes a few hours, even on turbo, so I don't have a lot of multi-hour blocks to play that long, either. Every few months a group of about 8 of us get together for a $50 buy-in, $2 max bet night of drinking and limit hold'em. Good times. We've gotten together maybe 10 times in the past 3 years and I only lost money once. I've got most of the math down (can at least ballpark stuff fairly accurately, which is important in limit) and I'm also pretty lucky.

Phil Laak (The Unabomber) cracks me up, but I'm sure he drives his opponents crazy. Of course, when Laak is playing, Jennifer Tilly is usually close by and the camera is never shy of catching shots of Tilly.

Yeah, you can't deposit from bank accounts/credit cards anymore. I deposited a small amount several years back, but I had to like send a Western Union to some dude in Latin America. It was sketchy and weird. It worked, but I won't do it again.

I'm just trying to build a little money through free rolls right now and enter some cheapies.

Full Tilt actually has a great $1,000 guaranteed tourney for 10 cents entry every day at 5:30pm. The best part is its a rebuy/add on for 50 cents. I love rebuys b/c the worst players are the ones that rebuy and better yet, they do it when they're usually behind already. It's not a huge prize pool, but for 10 cents - you have a legit shot at hundreds of bucks. Which isn't a lot, but it lets you build a stack that you can then enter some legit tourneys.

The tourney was a $27 buy-in with over 1800 people in it. took about 7 hours to play. I think the payout was $7123 or something like that. I was able to withdraw it before the government started going after the check company
