OT any poker players out there

I went to the World Series yesterday. I saw Doyle Brunson, Chris Ferguson, Jenn Harmon, Freddy Deeb, Dan Harrington, Barry Greenstien, Layne Flack and a few others.

The overall trip was a bit boring but it was kind of cool seeing the pros. I got to talk to Brunson which was awesome, a living legend in the poker world.

I love poker. We have a home game here on Friday night and I try to hit the casino now and then. It must have been really cool seeing all the big dogs

So win a satellite tourney online. I finished 5 spots out of winning a seat about five or six years ago. I had to finish 2nd in a tourney before that though.

I plan on doing something, probably next year. As for the satellites, they have a ton of live satellites in Vegas but I have a 3 month old baby so I wasn't able to really get involved.

I hear that! Thats why i have chilled out too. I have been playing for years, but then moneymaker wins and the world goes nuts. I kinda lost interest after that too. I still try to play every couple of weeks though.

There are tons of poker rooms around here, but I can say Moneymaker brough out a lot of fish. Vegas is the barrel.

i think it was just more of espn showing it all the time. i turned on espn and was like, who wants to watch poker. then found myself watching it. i am only 24 so i was new to it around that time. i used to just play 5 card draw.

I am "Automattic78" on full tilt (which i use the most) and ultimate bet (which i've had the longest). Never know when I am gonna be on though. Usually late night or really early in the morning.

I like that he plays with passion, even though it leads him to make poor decisions at times. I want to play more, but it is so hard to get everyone together anymore. Well, we just got table games at the casino, so I guess I will check them out.

I've always said I have the playing style of Dan Harrington and the luck of Phil Hellmuth.
