Grab is an interesting choice of words. Oregon will be in the news like Ole Miss was, you can mark that down.
His recruitment always had a “highest bidder” feel to it considering the specific schools who became his top targets and how it all went down. Guess we found out who was willing to bid the highest.

Multiple Oregon athletic programs just got slapped with probations and there was also that federal court investigation about sport agents brokering cash payments to b-ball recruits from various schools uncovered that Oregon has indeed been actively bidding for players for that program.

Oregon implicated on first day of NCAA basketball corruption trial

These dumbasses always got to learn the hard way.

Well shit.

He coulda done that at Nebraska.

But he would have to go to class and stuff.
yeah at Oregon, he walks into a very shitty D, can take over, gets a shitty conference, and gets paid off, easy choice for him

I know but Chip had the it factor at Oregon. Not sold on Cristobal just yet.

I loved Kelly, dude was an innovative genius. He was never a terrific recruiter though. MC is not proven of course but he’s been doing some good things. People sometimes forget we went from competing for titles to 4-8. The turnaround won’t be instantaneous but his attention to detail (from Saban’s tutelage) is making a difference.
