OPening Day..Haurbaugh Vs Carrol.. NFC west division game. Should b electric atmosphere at candlestick.

U think we will expose the seahawks oline. and get pressure on TJack. U think Alex plays a decent game..Were gonna have alot of weapons out there on offense. It should b a exciting game.. 9ers win 24-17

Thoughts?

if its just offenses doing the scoring, think it'll be a battle of field goals? ok, one TD by each offense? SF 19, Seattle 16.

agree our skill positions - other than Alex - are better, but it starts up front.
don't think our O-line can get it together this fast? Seattle will 'expose' our O-line just enough to keep our offense down.

our D should hold them down too, so MAYBE it comes down to a TD by ST's?

I agree w/Deep's score. However, I think T-Jax throws a late pick 6.......

I think Alex is better too... at least if you are comparing him to last year's opener. Or if against Seattle in general, he tends to play better against them (though this being an opener somewhat negates that). The newness of the system is a downer and may render it the same as last year's opener, but still I think Alex is better (but not good enough). Also, Seattle doesn't exactly have a QB either so I agree the skills position is where the bulk of the analysis lies. So, I say we win ~23-16 about. (And this is with a pick 6 and Brooks' fumble return, or course :))

I do think a 9er TE wll have a big day, but I am thinking that carroll will focus on Gore and VD, so Walker is the cat who will have a huge day.

Jim Harbaugh VS a tornado, but the tornados name is Jim Harbaugh. Tha Nine....ersssss.

I think that there is still a lot of work to be done on the offensive side of the ball for both teams, but at this stage of the season they have a lot more work to do.

9ers 31 Seadonkys 10. Alex is consistent with some rough spots, our D is stout, Edwards garners a special attention, and our TE's and backs chip their way down the field.

I think teams are going to make the 49ers and Alex Smith show that they can get it to Edwards before he draws special attention. The Seahawks know Smith can get it to Davis for TDs, that's a real threat. Getting it to Edwards isn't a proven threat yet. I think we'll see more one on one coverage for Edwards until he does enough to earn the special attention.

The seapigeons are week at CB, i think Edwards will have a good day. Although, i think gore will get more yards receiving out of the backfield.

24-13

I believe we'll do somewhat well on offense since the Hawks really have nothing to work with game planning wise.

On the flip side their is some stuff that could be used on the Seahawks side for game planning so we'll have somewhat of an edge there.

Also Seattle is having more O line problems than we are so I expect Fangio to make them work all game long and TJax will find himself on his back a lot.

Seattle is likely going to try to stuff the run so I think we'll give them a heavy dose of the passing game early on and than smash them with Gore when they are on their heels.

I DO pray that Staley can hold his guard against Clemons... Seattle bested our guys once before(first game) and a lot of that came from Clemons side.

Oh man, their front seven owned our offense last year and you're right, Clemons was brutal!

20-13 49ers. Gore has over a 100 yds rushing. Aldon Smith gets his first sack.

I really hope this is the case. I have a feeling Jim knows what he has and knows how to draw the plays up to match the talent...Edwards is a nice little new piece to the playbook that I think will stretch some D's. This is all of course assuming our O line isn't the great wall of crap that it played like for 75% of the pre season.
