Am I the only one more than a little nervous about Posey, though?

Yikes.

No, you are not. The reports haven't been as positive as one would hope. He is probably not close to ready to being able to catch everyday, maybe not even a full 9 innings. But there is still a little less than 2 months until Opening Day, and if anything, it gives us an opportunity to see what Joseph, Chez2/3 and Susac can do.

I'll be on the cautiously optimistic side and say that Posey will be able to catch almost regularly by Opening Day.

Not more than a little nervous, but certainly concerned. If he can't get in the squat as easily, I hope he retained his lateral movement enough to take over second base when Franchez's contract is up. Otherwise, he is just an average first baseman, his great arm will be squandered (more so even than moving to 2nd) and he will turn Belt into trade fodder or an awkward left fielder/4th outfielder.
