i am still occasionally stunned by how stupid this latest infraction was.

- the NHL does NOT have a vaccine mandate
- his suspension for needlessly lying anyway cost him $1.6 Million


so to summarize
- he's an idiot for not just getting the vaccine
- he's an idiot for lying about it (i.e. would be an asshole, but still be paid if he just said "fuck you, I'm not getting the shot" like that other idiot tyler bertuzzi)
- he's an idiot for going bankrupt while making $7 million per year ($64 million career to date). yes that's gross amount, but whatever - cut it by 2/3 still gets $20 mill net.
- and he's the biggest (alleged) idiot of all for his (alleged) repeated treatment of women

Something to keep in mind as people put out "US Thanksgiving benchmark" pieces this week, the season still started 1 week later than it usually does. The actual benchmark is next Thursday. In 2019 most teams had played 25-27 games by US Thanksgiving, this year 4 teams have played 20 games and 3 have played 15.
