Also, the Leafs' defence since Dec. 1 has actually been good if using shots against is a good metric for whether a defence is doing their job or not:

Yes, there were a few nights where the whole team looked like they would rather be somewhere else but a clash of bullshit happens for every team at some point - since Feb. 1 the Caps have taken 5 points of a possible 16 but because they weren't total shit the first two months of the season they're still hanging in there. I hope Treliving does very little, even if the Flames make the playoffs, they're going to be first round fodder. I'm not saying sell sell sell, I just don't want to see any draft picks being included in a trade that will have very little impact.
