Sucks for the kid.Damn, Chaz Lucius has announced his retirement from professional hockey due to Ehlers-Danlos syndrome.
He’s been OK. Not a savior… just OK. There are several “unnoticables” out there right now.
Add to that the fact that their best player is all but officially out for the first round and the combo of Dumba & Ceci are going to need to step their respective games up (which I’m not sure is even possible)...
Call me pessimistic.
The news of Kuznetsov’s departure from his most recent contract comes on the same day that ex-teammate Ivan Demidov signed his three-year, entry-level deal with the Montreal Canadiens. Kuznetsov served as a De facto mentor for the young Demidov this season, and it will be interesting to see if he follows his fellow countryman back to North America for the return to the NHL.
At just 32, Kuzentsov may still have more left in the tank, especially after noting to Russian news outlet Sport-Express that he has learned how to better manage his rheumatoid arthritis that impacted his performance last season.
ibidI got nothing

That was like the first minute of the NHL 25 game my wife played my son on christmas morning as she kept saying “HOW DO I MOVE MY PLAYERS!!!”Yeah, I didn't word that very well. It implies that he turned into a pumpkin when his teammates didn't give him any help.
