I do not think there has been one team he has coached that hasn't had that type of treatment.

Whatever the case - that should do it as far as Torts coaching in the league ever again. If it isn’t clear at this point that he well beyond his effectiveness then I don’t know what more he can do.

He's 66 and certainly an old school coach so likely at the end of the road, I agree. He certainly doesn't need the money nor the aggravation.

Every time Torts gets a new job this is the reaction from Ted Nolan and Gerard Gallant.

It would be awesome if the NHL would quit with this

and teams would actually try and find new coaching talent.
