What if we go by their first year in the league, keep the 66-10 range, but offensive players had to start in an odd year and defensive players had to start in an even year?

If we’re going to limit it to their first year in the league, we should include ‘85 instead of ‘86 as the first year. That gives us a bunch of HOF players from the draft that year, plus most of the USFL players that came over to the NFL.

Funny you say that. I originally had 85-05 in my post but changed it to make it an even 20 years lol. I'm fine with that
