It's literally all I can think about on a minute to minute basis. I've gotten really good at pretending that I'm working, all the while going over what type of gameplan the Broncos should come out and watching highlights from last year. Gettin' jacked!!!!!

First Broncos game of the year is always very exciting. Add to that this year the facts that it's also the first NFL game of the season, the only game played that day, and against the team that ended what looked like such a promising year last year, and I can't imagine a more compelling opening game. Only counts one of sixteen, but damn it would be nice to win! I really think that we will, but I can't help but recalling that I also felt very confident going to the playoff game.

There should only be about a 90 degree temperature difference for this game than the last. Thursday is going to be a tough day to get anything done at work.

I am so thankful that today I have only had 15 minutes in my actual office as it would have driven me crazy sitting here all day. What is everybody doing for the game?

My wife and I are driving about 5 hours tomorrow to go spend a few days with a couple of my college buddies that are huge Bronco fans and their wives! Should be a good weekend especially if a Bronco victory starts it out. I was really hoping to actually go to this game but just wasn't able to work it out this time around. I'm hoping to get to one game at least this year.

Oddly.....there are alot of Ravens fans around here (or at least alot of homers with Lewis and Reed jerseys), so we're bound to run into some douchers somewhere we go. We talk smack, but it's all in good fun.....unless my sister goes with us, then all hell can break loose. She's #3 on the die hard fans list here.....chick gets nuts when the Broncos play.

Anyhow.....don't care where we go or who we see as long as the Broncos beat that ass!!!

Very nice! I cannot remember a game I was more ready to have happen than this one. Man I am ready to see this Bronco offense just take off and have the Ravens heads spinning. I remember last year what it looked like when we played New England and even though we had a great defense that speed was just ridiculous. Sounds like the Broncos at least in preseason were operating at exactly the speed they were. Suggs and Dumervil will take two steps towards the line of scrimmage and the ball will already be gone. Have to start calling them the 2-steppin Ratbirds.

Pro Football Focus graded Clady at second fewest pressures allowed last year, and Franklin at third fewest (22 and 26, respectively). The way Doom disappears against quality tackles, I doubt he has much of an impact no matter which side he comes from.

Will be either him or Suggs. Suggs has the better shot, but still a tough draw with Franklin and Clady.

Any Ravens fans expecting Dumervil to have a good game against the Broncos will be sorely disappointed I suspect.

Word... Cowherd was picking Seattle and Denver to be the two best teams in the league this year...hope he is right. Great QB and ability to stretch the defense deep.
