Eh, been there done that. Not that special when you get knocked out in the first round...honestly hope you guys fare better though
just planning to enjoy the ride, however long it may beSo you are looking forward to the Clarence Campbell trophy and a loss in the finals?

well we've never been there nor done that.
so i'm still fuckin' pumped about it. but not quite :panda:
Congrats on the Presidents Trophy. Your reward is going to be a series with the Blackhawks or Ducks.
The Canucks will be heavily favored & rightfully so. Neither team will be easy to beat & the Canucks likely won't be the same team when the series is over.
Don't mean to take anything away from the accomplishment whatsoever, but after last season, the PT means nothing to me
Still, congrats to the Nucks

Who was the last team to win the PT and the Cup?
As long as you show your opponents your balls and not your PT, you'll be fine...
Was it Detroit? I know the Flames did the double in '89...
i think its 7 of 25 Pres cup trophy winners have gone on to win the cup ... ill take those odds ... better than being 1 of 30
dont know if it was mentioned in the dominance thread but leading the league in the 4 team stats mooger mentioned would indeed be historic
Fun fact from the NHL: The Canucks have scored the most goals in the NHL (253), allowed the fewest (177) and have recorded the top power-play and penalty-killing percentages (24.7% and 86.6%, respectively). No club in the League's 'expansion era' (since 1967-68) has finished first in each of these categories in a single season.
