I'm so conflicted at this point, I don't know. I really don't want to see the QB controversy that is brewing. I just have a sneaky suspicion that KC will play just well enough to split everyone. Say Grif is out 8 weeks and KC goes 4-4 or 5-3 with some pretty good stats, but not great. If this happens, its going to get real ugly around here.........

I feel your pain. I also root for Maryland & the Skins. In addition - I have been a lifelong fan of the Capitals & Wizards. Talk about torture. Thankfully - the Wizards are getting better & I have rooted for the Angels for several years since I used to live very close to their stadium. Oh well - will make it that much sweeter when one of these teams wins a title.

It will be very interesting if RG3 comes back in 8 weeks. If the team is doing well and they pull KC for RG3, it will be an absolutely ridiculous move. What will you say if this happens and the team starts to play worse?

If KC is playing poorly and they pull him for a healthy RG3, I will be all for that.

If Cousins plays well and leads the time to more wins than loses, I think RGIII is trade bait.

Not really. If the team is winning and Cousins is doing well, the easy out is to say that there is no reason to switch QBs and risk Robert at this time. He could use more time to get healthy.

Yea well if he pulls that shit and tries to demand the team bench Cousins while the team is actually winning games, all he will be doing is cementing the idea that he is a me first player. In that situation he would be best served to give Alex Smith a call and figure out the best thing to do.


If Rg3 becomes a distraction at that point, all he will gain is a quick ticket to the worst team that gives the best trade offer.

I'm going to focus on the team and supporting Capt Kirk for the immediate future.

And like Jay said so well in his presser, cross that bridge when we come to it. There are worse things than having 2 good QBs to choose from. And if Jay is the coach I think he can be, this will be handled with diplomacy and smarts.

And who would listen to him or care? Like Shark says, that will simply facilitate his way out of DC, though it would hurt the Skins bargaining power. Diva QBs with questionable health issues as well as questions of can they be anything more than a gimmick QB. Don't fetch a whole lot in trade.
