oh yea, and we don't veto anything in that league ever. Future draft picks can be traded and anyone can pretty much rationalize any motive for making moves. Forte was dropped last year since that owner thought we was going to IR after his early season injury. That owner made a horrible decision based off of bad info. who's to say when you see a bad trade, that the guy that is getting shafted isnt just making a move based off of bad info?

As to the last picks first issue..I guess I like to have faith that the owners in my league(s) have more integrity than that. Major reason as to why I never play for money with people I don't personally know. Have only had that issue come up once and that owner was, rather unpolitely, asked to leave.

My philosophy as a commissioner (since 2006) was always that it's not my job to babysit owners. If a trade doesn't reek of collusion I would approve it.

Used to be in favor of vetoes. Not any more. No one has a crystal ball. If a guy drafted Jamal Charles first overall we would have thought he was crazy. Matt forte drafted 4th - get the straightjacket.

Joe's right - it can't be about "fair" because nobody knows. If you have vetoes and expect people to vote on them, a pre-season trade of Spiller and Bowe for Moreno and Dobson is begging to be vetoed.
