Let's get a few things straight here.

1) Fitzpatrick is the Jets QB. Marshall and Decker killed it all year and the jets almost made the playoffs.

2) Taylor is the bills QB. Watkins was killing it at the end if the year and Taylor didn't make many mistakes and made plays with his arm and legs. Their defense let them down without Schwartz running it.

3) Wentz has a small sample of games and played at the lower college level. Flacco is the last guy to play at the low college level and he went 18th and at least he had some more prime college experience at Pitt before Delaware.

4) The Saints drafted a QB early last year.

5) The Chargers must draft an Olineman or it won't matter that their old QB or new QB is a perennial pro bowler.

6) Eli has never missed a game. The Giants aren't drafting a qb yet. Especially not with the rest of the team built the way it is.

Fitzpatrick is (a) 5 years older than Bradford, and (b) has come up small much (if not most) of the time. Jets could well be looking for a develpmental QB that can be groomed before they move on from Fitzpatrick.

2) Taylor is the bills QB. Watkins was killing it at the end if the year and Taylor didn't make many mistakes and made plays with his arm and legs. Their defense let them down without Schwartz running it.

Taylor looked good for one season. I agree that the Bills will - for now - probably go with him.

3) Wentz has a small sample of games and played at the lower college level. Flacco is the last guy to play at the low college level and he went 18th and at least he had some more prime college experience at Pitt before Delaware.

4) The Saints drafted a QB early last year.

The Saints picked Grayson with the third round. They might still opt to go for one this draft. You know, everyone called the Redskins crazy for drafting two QB's in the same draft (1st and early 4th round). Looks like it might work out for them, with the second of those QB's picked.

5) The Chargers must draft an Olineman or it won't matter that their old QB or new QB is a perennial pro bowler.

Again, depends on how the draft shapes up. Could well be draft QB and O-line (or go FA for the O-line).

6) Eli has never missed a game. The Giants aren't drafting a qb yet. Especially not with the rest of the team built the way it is.

Eli is getting old, and the Giants would be smart of they were to groom a replacement for him down the line. You know, like the Packers did with Rodgers... who was also drafted while Iron Man Favre was still playing.

They have Geno for another year. And they drafted Bryce Petty last year. Fitzpatrick is working for them. They had a top ten offense in those coaches first year.

I didn't call the Redskins crazy. Sean Payton is going to draft a developmental QB in the 1st one year after drafting one in the 3rd, when his leash isn't that long and his defense is terrible? Very unlikely.

Eli is getting old, and the Giants would be smart of they were to groom a replacement for him down the line. You know, like the Packers did with Rodgers... who was also drafted while Iron Man Favre was still playing.

The coach is new to the job, has worked with Eli for two years and has a wretched defense. He better build up the rest of the team or he won't be there when Eli retires or moves on. How soon is that really going to happen? These QBs can play a long time now. Peyton will be 40 in two months. Eli just turned 35. Granted Favre was 35 when Rodgers was drafted, but Rodgers is an extremely rare case.
