Knowing WW like I think I do, this has to be a reference to Narnia I'm guessing.

/Aside from trailers, have not watched a second or read any of the books.

At the risk of derailing the thread, I thought CS Lewis was almost like required reading for Catholics?

/And you were right about the reference. Dragon picked up on it immediately.

I read those books like 28 years ago but my long-term memory is crazy good. Just don't ask me what just happened 30 minutes ago though :laugh3:

Adam Mascherin or Mike McLeod will probably be the next pick, I'm guessing Mascherin. Quote from my buddy who coaches GTHL midgets (the age group, not the medical condition) and beat Mascherin (call-up from minor midgets) in the playoffs: "Oh my God, Mascherin scared the living shit out of me all series!". Kid's got some real offensive skills.

I was dragging my ass today so I got to this thread a little late. No big deal though, since most of the board has never seen or heard of most of these kids anyways and probably don't care. I'll post the top 5 though just so that I can say that I updated it.

1. Sarnia - Jakob Chychrun, D, Toronto Jr. Canadiens, Boca Raton FL (don't get excited Yanks, looks like he's gonna play for Canada internationally )

2. Kitchener - Adam Mascherin, C, Vaughan Kings, Maple ONT

3. Ottawa - Travis Barron, LW, Toronto Jr. Canadiens, Belfountain ONT

4. Bellevile - Brandon Saigeon, C, Hamilton Bulldogs, Grimsby ONT

5. Missisauga - Mike McLeod, C, Toronto Marlies, Missisauga ONT

So if you want to feel old…Igor Larionov's youngest kid was drafted by an OHL team today. #RedWings

Doesn't make me feel that old, Larionov is no spring chicken. For comparison, by the time Chychrun's dad was drafted by the Flyers Larionov already had an Olympic gold medal, two world championships and a Canada Cup.
