Finger Poppin Dat Pussy
Sorry missed last week guys, won't happen again.
Ohio St at Cal
Memorial Stadium in Berkley, CA
7 ET on FOX
Preview
The Buckeyes 2-0 coming off a 42-7 win against San Diego St in dominating fashion.
Braxton's status is still unknown but "fairly optimistic" and tackling was a big issue last vs Cal. Tey gave up a season-high 512 yds last yr and Bigelow was a big part of that. Hyde is still out, this will be the last game he is out. Hall, Smith and the youngsters will need to have another solid game.
The Golden Bears 1-1 coming off a close win to Portland St 37-30
after dropping the first game to Northwestern.
Cal leads the nation with 97 plays per game, could be tough to stop. But Cal has given up 512 yds/game 116th in nation so far this season and 37 pts/game 104th. They are only averaging about 110 rushing yds a game so far and Ohio St has been good so far. Tbey will have to attack with their passing game
Key Players:
Ohio State- Brax - How limited will he be? And hiw affective with that zone-read will he be? He will most likely be passing more and give to the backs.
Jordan Hall- A team-high 234 yds and 3 TD's. I expect a big game from him.
Cal- Brandon Bigelow- the explosive RB torched OSU for 160 2 TD's on just 4 carries. Need to tackle him well and not give him many running lanes.
Jared Goff- freshmen QB. He has thrown for 935 yds it leads the nation. Second is Mannion with 794.
He has a cannon, have to get pressure to limit easy throws.
Prediction
I see Brax playing 2 to 3 quarter but with limited running. I see OSU racking up a lot of yardage and to wear down the Cal defense with multiple guys Hall, Smith and Wilson will break a long run...watch!
Cal will get their yards and wear down this OSU D, but the defense will limit points and play good redzone D. They will have to creat turnover and get pressure on this young and talented Cal QB.
Final Score 45-20
Shit I think OSU could put up 55+. GO BUCKEYES!!!
