I'm actually starting to agree with you on this........however, I don't know why ye posted that in this here game thread. If anything Ohio State just further made the BIG look almighty tonight going in that 50-15 run like that on us.

Wonder how much less Ray will play next year.. im guessing a lot

He will still be a starter and will get 35 mins a game.

He'll be a redshirt Senior following a year where he got a TON of experience. No way will Tim Miles take an xbox mindset into next season and replace experience with a Freshman.

Ray also takes very good care of the ball and plays really good defense.

Those are the little things that people don't see as he is bricking 3 pointers. He is one of the top defenders in the country and also turns the ball over less than 99% of all players in thee country.

We have a glaring issue as we do not have a big guy who can really contribute next season. 6'7" will be as tall as we get unless we play Vucetic, which I don't see happening too often.

We will play small, but we will play very quick. We'll have more scoring threats on the floor and also will have depth to work with finally.

Without a guy like Ubel or Andre, however, I do not see us winning more than 7 games next season in conference play.....

NIT would be a very good outcome for next year.

I could see Miles taking the Huskers to the NCAA tourney in his 3rd season..........but I don't expect it. I expect it to happen in his 4th season.

I dont think your starting lineup is accurate.. but i will admit i was overreacting aboot Ray..

No way in heck Parker starts for this team next year, but he'll contribute..

Ye got to work youth in......ye can't just go and bench a handful of guys who saw a ton of playing time in the previous season and replace them with first year guise.

Benny is the only ball handler we have left on roster going into next season. We can't just expect that Webster will for sure come in and be thee next T. Lue or anything. We don't even want ta play him at PG anyways....we want him at the 2 spot.

The experience Benny got this year will be way too important moving into next season. Besides, a good PG doesn't really score anyways. A good PG just distributes the ball and takes care of the ball.

If he ends up being as good as was touted that could be huge for us.

Maybe Miles will have Biggs run the point......idk it is going to be interesting to see as we have a lot of options next year. I know he ran the point at his JC, but this here is a different deal......and Miles did say that he likes him as a shooting guard.

Benny jest cant shoot.. you cant run a guy out there who the other team wont even respect to take a wide open shot..

I suppose him and peltz can just share time playing point and be left wide open to shoot airballs or get swatted all the time

I could see Biggs playing point, but you are right tho, him and Tai are both 2s.. we're screwed

Fwiw..erick strickland went on Twitter this morning to say that the Huskers should not accept a CBI invite.

Also of note, no b1g team has ever played in it

Webster will start. Best player we've had since Lue. There will be much more depth though. Hopefully Parker will learn how to shoot in the off season. He'd be a Decent back up.

I understand you guys not trying to get your hopes up for next years team. But Miles is the real deal. Considering him and the new facilities, we will be in the Tourny within 2 years. Just hope we can keep him here.

I think we go to the NCAA tourney next year already. Especially now that istoole reminded me of Pitchford.

I too hope we can hang on to Miles. I would hope he would be happy with the idea of building a Dynasty here. We're giving him the best arena and facilities in the country, in the premier conference in the country. It's an opportunity to wipe the slate clean here at Nebraska and start fresh......and he can go down as the guy who got it done.

Miles wouldn't leave on his own behalf. He's got it made here.
To go along with the fancy facilities and statewide support to get Nebrasketball to the NCAA Tournament level, he's from South Dakota.

The game I went to had a section of fans from his hometown here to watch one of their own coach.

CBI bracket will be released soon.

Nebraska would be expected as a #1 seed I'm being told if they would accept an invitation.

It sounds like Nebraska would likely turn it down, however. Financially it doesn't make sense beings as we have to travel for every single game since the Devaney is under construction.

We did indeed submit paperwork for the CBI tournament....

Seems weird to me that we would even take the time to do this if Miles was considering turning the invite down.
