I'm thinking this guy has a legit mental health problem. I don't ever want to see him on the Lions again, but I hope someone can get thru to this guy and make him realize that he needs to seek professional help.

It's a shame Marshall wasn't able to communicate with him. Who knows, maybe he'd still be in the league and out of all the legal trouble he seems to be in.

Wow. The best thing for him may be a solid six month to a year sentance in a mental health facility. The man is only 23, and he's spiraling out of control. It sounds as if he has a family that cares for him and wants to get him help. He's got a lot of life left to live if he can just accept that help. (Lions cover up an injury?). Sounds like he should be thankful he's alive right now.

blaming an injury/the lions.....sure beats personal accountability for his actions.

Did you guys read the same article I did? Cuz I read an article where a father was asking/hoping for his son to get forgiveness. And explaining that his son is not right, or capable mentally to function as a person. He also stated he hoped for court ordered meds, but I didn't read any blame in there. Or maybe I did read the same article, only I'm not a complete fucking dickhead.

i could see how blame could be insinuated on the lions. he mentioned the cause, as a 2011 concussion and the article states later no such injury was ever listed by the Lions.

i agree with you though -- i'm not seeing him pointing any fingers at anyone but his son right now.

Let's see if Tyrann Mathieu's help worked for him, if it does then maybe the Youngs SR. SR. can go that route and tell Titus it's been done before and it's not to late.

Great athleticism can only cover up stupidity for so long I guess.

Seriously though, a part of me feels bad for him. At first I thought he was just plain stupid, but if he is smart enough to remember the plays and learn to play the game so well, then I dont believe he is stupid enough to throw it all away in this way. I think he really must have some mental issues and that makes me feel for the guy.

I think his dad is blaming the Lions. That is the only logical thing I can truly take from that statement. He knows his son has problems and wants him to get help, but cannot find it in himself to strictly blame his son or himself for how he raised the kid. It is a natural response for many people to deflect blame onto someone else. My step-daughter used to toss her cell phone around a lot. Flip it into the air and catch it over and over. She would drop it and stuff. Then when it stopped working right, she would call it a stupid phone! The Boston Bombers mother radicalizes her son, and then he sets off bombs and kills people and she blames America for his death. People just have a hard time taking responsibility for their own actions.

While it isn't another arrest for Titus. They are reporting he stole food and drink at a party store, then came back a few minutes later and stole cigars on May 4th. He took off before the cops got there.

I guess the Lions WERE right -- he does have breakaway speed.

Hmm food, drinks and cigars? Sounds like someone was getting blunted and thought ahead of time for his munchies.
