Basically he said the place had no hope without him.

Pretty sad since they have multiple teams, for decades of years....and there's 1000's of other athletes to potentially elevate them.

They are cursed. He might win 1 there, bit if that's the case, then he probably should have won 3-4.

Nobody will remember this statement any more then they will where he won.
Historians compare careers, not cities, and this IMO was a bad CAREER move.

All being said, he has every right to think however he wants and play wherever he wants.

Why would Melo want 2 play in Miami now??? He could lose in NY & get the absolute max. At least in LA there's another star that doesn't require rest every other night in order 2 perform.

Not trying to be a dick, but how many games did Kobe play in last year? I didn't say that Melo should play in Miami. I said that both Miami and LA could offer the same amount. That was it. I said Melo should go to Chicago....because I don't want to see the Cavs win.

How about James saying it will be a "process".

Already setting up the excuse in case he LeFails.
Well, I think it's funny that he chose 2 leave but I think I know why. Obviously they aren't gonna win anymore with Wade as broken & in decline as he showed in the Finals. They barely won ONE game...smh. Miami was stupid to not get rid of Wade 2 keep LBJ & they've paid the ultimate price. Not only did LBJ leave but Bosh is on his way 2 Houston...probably as we speak. I tried 2 tell folks that keeping Wade at such a high salary was stupid & it costed them dearly. :laugh3:

I don't think he's setting up excuses but rather realizing that roster in Cleveland is young & they will need time 2 gel...and Wiggins 2 acclimate himself in the league.

Stop being so sensitive...i just asked a simple question. I think it's very obvious Melo won't want 2 play with Wade alone.

And 2 answer ur question, Kobe played 6 games last season. Having said that, I'm sure tween he & Wade Kobe still has played more games. :laugh3:

TurnUp, I'm pissed that Lebron left, but it is what it is. But be better than Cavs fans. That shit where you can add any word to "Le" and think it's funny is actually not.

Actually it is IMO.

I swear I'm sitting here making jokes about how worked up people get over something that in the scheme of life is no more important then anything else that is entertainment.

As good as the Heat were, many nights I said it was getting boring to even watch the regular season.
Everything came down the playoffs.....like, why even watch/go to regular season games?

It sucks losing the best player in the world. I don't hate him.
I never rooted for him pre-Heat and I certainly wont now.

I'm looking forward to seeing Riley be the great, pro GM he is and trying to build a new championship roster before James ever wins one there.:suds:

To be fair, the same could be said re: the Lakers and the contract they gave Kobe. There are some players that you do those things for as a bit of a thank you for what they meant to the organization. For the Heat, that player is Wade.

Wade was going to take less $. How much? We will never know now. Wade was not the reason that LeBron left.

Is it worth noting that LeBron called out Kyrie, Waiters, Thompson, and Varejoa in his article... but not Wiggins?

Maybe Lebron wasn't a fan of that draft day jacket

James is currently the best player in the world. Obviously still in the middle of his prime.
However he's about to hit 30, start his 12th season and has been used hard during and in between.
He has business and commitments world wide.

It wont be real soon...but its not that far off when he will start to gradually decline.

Guess what Im saying is that IMO he really doesn't have 2-3 year to rebuild.
Even built, there no guarantees.

Cavs will soon be maxed out. If they get Love, or whoever...they better hope to God that Big 3 is as good or better then what he had in Miami.

Windhorst says "The Letter" will now be used to refer to Lebron's essay... not Gilbert's rant.

If you haven't read LeBron's essay yet I recommend it.
