Twitter is always confusing. But it still wouldn't add up, bc he didn't visit Cleveland.

What about that MM pic too?

Sounds like there's some communication going on behind the scene. And it's not like these guys are unknown quantities to each other. It seems to me that anything besides Cleveland or Miami would just be too damaging to the brand, and I don't see Bosh coming back to Miami. All a team has to say is "we won't treat you like the third wheel" and he'll jump all over it. That really doesn't leave Miami with much to offer.

I doubt it...I just don't think he can make up his mind. His family, friends and heart are in one direction and his head and feelings for Bosh/Wade lead him in another. We could both be wrong. Either way, he will have hurt Cleveland or Miami significantly in free agency....

There's a lot to address on this thread. Personally, I think Sheridan and Broussard make a strong case for being a collective embarrassment to the field of journalism. As mentioned before, Lebron doesn't even know what he's going to do, how does Sheridan know? Did he sell his soul to predict the future.

My gut feeling tells me that Lebron is going back to Cleveland though. There's just way too much smoke there. The problem I have is when people say he's accomplished everything in Miami. Yes, he's won two titles and that's a great start. But he's chasing the likes of Duncan, Magic, Jordan, Kobe, Kareem, Bird, etc. It's not about what he's accomplished in one location. It's about what he's going to accomplish in his career. Most of the names mentioned are in the top 10, and they all have more rings than Lebron. Finishing with two titles is going to be an utter disappointment when comparing him to Jordan. Hell, Kobe would have a much more significant argument at having the better career at that point.

Lebron needs to think with his head regarding where he wants to go. His friends and agent just want to see him try to win one for the home team. I just can't fathom the idea of going back to a team where the owner called you out, the city mocked your very name, burned your jersey, and above all else - cheered when you failed. Personally, I would've told Cleveland to go fuck themselves.

PS - Trojan, I stole your BBQ recipe fucker! GAME ON!!!! :suds:

Bosh was always treated right in Miami. It's not like Bosh was abused by management or the team in general. When you have Wade and Lebron on the same team as you, you're going to be the third option. If Lebron leaves, I hope Bosh goes to the best place for him, whether that's Miami or some other location. With only Wade, Miami's not going to contend next year.

I'm calling bullshit on the ' wife and family' nonsense.

IF the Heat beat the Spurs, is there any chance that James isn't here next year? Answer is no.
Whatever decision he makes is what HE wants to do for whatever HIS reasoning is.

Next, people correctly pointed out today that Allen and Miller can easily deal with moving their families to Ohio if they decide to play there.
So, James can't find a way to bring whatever family he needs to Miami during the season.
Hasn't it worked just fine for the last 4 years?
I'm sure those people would prefer to spend the winter months in Akron, Ohio???

As far as leaving without meeting with the Cavs face to face, I just don't see that happening.
As people pointed out, maybe he did somehow have some secret meeting, but that seems totally unnecessary and even childish if it happened.

Anyway, at this point I'm done dwelling on it.
Just would prefer he announces.
No way he doesn't know what he is doing.

My hope says he's stalling because he wants to play with Anthony here, but is too much of a pussy to just tell Bosh.

My brain, knowing what we've heard says Miami.

My gut says Cavs.

I believe also the reason both melo and lebron are stalling is cause they want to play together. But i can't blame lebron for not having the guts to tell that to bosh. They are still close friends... But him giving pat riley a hint about it in the meeting should be enough for pat riley to do his job and be the one to break to chris bosh.

Bosh should be able to take the hint. Every reporter is saying it and posting it, he has to have read it.

The irving and tristan tweets could just be them trying to lure Lebron. Another ploy from his agent.

I just dont see how he could talk crap about Sterling as an owner for what he said in private and then sign with Gilbert after what he did publicly.

They were talking about that on local radio this morning.
Gilbert basically acted like James was his property.

I just listened to Brian Windhorst on Mike & Mike. He brought up a good point about a Lebron & Melo pairing in Miami. He brought something to my attention that I didn't realize beforehand. He said it would be virtually impossible for them to pair up in Miami even if Bosh goes to Houston before Lebron & Melo make their decisions.

Here are the reasons why it is nearly impossible:
-If bosh leaves, that brings the team below the luxury tax threshold because his cap hold is removed.
-Bringing the team below the tax threshold means the team no longer can use the MLE to sign McBob & the other exception to sign to sign Granger.
-That means both of those contracts immediately count towards the lower cap number.
-With the team resigning Wade for around $14-15 mil a season & Lebron signing for around $22 mil, counting the 5 players already on the team, including McBob & Granger, that would put the team around $50 mil
-That would only leave about $13 mil till fill out the roster.

Basically it boils down to that teams can only exceed that salary cap to sign there own player via Bird rights. By bosh leaving that limits the amount of money Miami can spend. So unless Melo plans on playing for around $5 mil a season, it ain't happening

If that were the only issue, then just don't sign either one.
I don't think James was overt thrilled with them anyway.

Didnt Windohorst tweet something like "As a public service announcement to my hometown, dont get your hopes up" ? I wonder if he has some insight.

Anyway, aren't the Heat a better team with Bosh then Anthony?
Whose replacing the 6' 11".

And, would everyone agree that if James goes back to the Cavs that he's pretty much stuck there for a loooonnng time?
How could he leave there again?
He would be viewed as the biggest douche of all time.
That's a huge gamble.

And now James is mad at Riley because he wouldn't let his friends run wild like the Cavs did.

If there is one shred of truth to that, then just fuck him.
You have to be a man and draw line in the sand somewhere.

I'm starting to think sheridan source is LeBron agent. There were only 4 people in that room so how the hell would he know what was said in the meeting?

James and Anthony ain't happening. Terrible fit

It is not a bad fit, but you might be right that it is not happening. Especially in light of what Windhorst said.

LeBron's agent has an agenda. Even if he were the source, I would not trust it with anywhere near the certainty that Sheridan is reporting it.

His credibility will be out the window if LeBron stays in Miami. This will be worse than bucher. First he said it was 90 percent and now he's saying LeBron already made his decision to go back to Cleveland.

It has to be his source though. And he's sticking to his guns, says the decision will be on the website before he leaves for Brazil.

I just don't buy it though. Lebron is going to sign with an owner that hated on him, a coach and GM he's never met or talked to?
