Love trade is official. Kevin Love traded to Cavs, Andrew Wiggins to Wolves in 3-team deal

Philly lost their best player...but at least they got a draft pick.

Anthony Davis is the NBA's next great player it sure looks like to me man.....now if only they could figure out that Evans/Holliday/Gordon back court situation

Anderson and Asik i think are a great combo to have on the court....compliment each other well

Chris Grant deserves some credit for laying this foundation- his free agent moves were pretty awful- but he did a great job accumulating assets that became the backbone of building this team

Although- you have to give Gilbert credit- in many of those trades for picks he tooks the other teams "problems" in order to get the picks attached.



today is the culmination of a 4 year rebuilding effort, that definitely had its share of luck, but fortune favors the prepared- and Grant laid the framework for the juggernaut the Cavs will be for the foreseeable future- kudos to CG!

Are you serious? The Cavs did nothing to prepare for this day other than absolutely stink and get lucky with the way that a ball bounced. Lebron is there because he is from there was drafted by them again by sheer luck and the Cavs being bad. Congratulations and good luck, but you can't be serious that your organization did anything but use suck and luck to be where they are now.....

Good for Kyrie getting the starting spot for Team USA at the age of 22...it should be a very good experience for him that hopefully carries over to the NBA season

Totally agree.

Offensively, he is coming along quite nicely.

Defensively, he's a grown ass man.

They need to thin the herd by getting rid of Gordon.

But, that contract is an abomination.

Nothing to embrace as of yet... they haven't played a game. It could go one of 2 ways, though: They play great and go deep in the playoffs, or they flat out suck due to lack of chemistry.... much like the Lakers 2 years ago...

I didn't know the Wolves were keeping Bennett and trading for Thad.

Pretty good haul for the Timberpups.

It's gonna be sick watching Rubio throw lobs to LaVine and Wiggins all Season .

I saw your girl Maya won MVP.

She certainly deserved it.

Hopefully, Parker and the Sparks can take enough wind out of the Mercury's sail in the first round.

But, if we are saying it's " Championship or Bust "......

With that being said, I think it's totally unfair to expect them to usurp the Spurs in their first Season.

However, if they keep Love after the Season?

They should have a chip by year 3 at the latest.

I'm taking a wait and see approach, but I'm a little excited to see what becomes with Rubio's development and Love's shadow gone. Not going to get into what should've been this past season... no need for Wiggy to go all rhutard on the bit.

Not fearing the Mercury at all. Maya's a beast. As the father of 3 girls, good to have the Lynx playing well and getting some local exposure.

I just want to know how it's going to be handled when Love starts a game 0-5 or whatever and needs to keep shooting... That could be one of the more telling signs. Will he be willing to accept it, or will he be demanding of the ball to find his shot?
