This has become a dog and pony show that rivals P. T. Barnum's circus. LeBron is so concerned about his future, he decided to get into a pick-up game in Las Vegas and no decision is forthcoming on anyone's front-not James, not Anthony, not Gasol. ESPN's Broussard has basically stated that James can do whaetver he wants and everyone is going to jump in lockstep or wait or whatever.

The league has now become enslaved by this guy as everyone is now going to have to wait except may be Parsons in Houston and of course Blake now in Portland. This is embarassing akin to having FA being abused by a couple of megalomaniacs that now have a lot of power.

Excerpt from Stephen A on Mike and Mike:

So he wasn't happy with some decisions made and pretty much no hard feelings. I believe Stephen A, but it is still a rumor.

I guess nickname serves right

Think about it this way, if MJ played now it would be the same thing.

Wonder if he'll take Beasley to Cleveland?

Anyway, I'm pretty certain we wont officially hear his decision until he's sitting on the runway about to take off for Brazil/China.

He can get away and not have to deal with anyone until he wants to.

Besides all the bullshit in Cleveland, I would go off the limb and say James has received more blacklash this free agency then when he made The Decision. And he trying to somewhat do it different too.

I mean if you step back and take a look at how people are tripping over themselves in a frenzy just for the chance at getting his decision while he holds nearly the entire league and certainly his teammates and other FAs in suspended animation is alone a diabolical hypocrisy of epic proportions. I for one am embarrassed to witness any of this.

I just think this goes to show that the majority of the negative feelings surrounding LeBron's free agency experiences are generated more by the media and the fans than by LeBron.

At this point, some people would probably beg for a 1 hour tv special so they could get it over with.

The media and fans are going crazy, gossiping, speculating, stalking, clamoring at every tiny piece of information that has even the slightest appearance of relevancy to his decision.

Who really created "The Decision"? LeBron? Or the Media and the fans?

I think some here are being ridiculous.

Lebron is making a decision that will most likely carry him past his prime and closer to retirement. He should take ALL the time he wants, it's his life. The fact some of you think he has to do this on YOUR timetable says more about you than him.

Its embarrassing to the people in the frenzy... not the person taking time to make an important decision.

There's nothing to suggest that he's doing this out of enjoyment or diabolical desire to watch people make a fuss over him. They've been making a fuss over him his whole life.

The leap people are making in attempt to use this as a way to paint LeBron as an attention whore is chasmic.

"That guys a jerk because we're all making a huge fuss over him and he's not doing anything!"

:agree:

Hard it believe Riley is forced to play James' game.
There has to be a reason he continues to let it go on.

Love to be a fly on his wall.

I wish he could just convince Bosh to stay and then start moving on.

James can then either jump on or jump off.

In some respects who is responsible for the derivation of this orgasmic display of idol worship and interaction may be irrelavant because like it or not, it is associated with LeBron and now he is contributing to its life by pulling some of these bizarre stunts of behavior that simply are not befitting an individual that supposedly is the best player the NBA has to offer.

Disagree...
He loves the attention.

And, the decision is made....it's not that hard.
He just wants to be out of the country and not deal with the ramifications of it IMO.

:wtf2:

Please tell me more about these stunts and unbefitting behavior? If you're talking about 2010.. then sure. But this time around?

Is it when he... Didn't say anything.... or maybe its when he.... kept quiet... or maybe its all the.... silence.... you didn't like his lack of public apperances? I'm struggling here.

1. The presence of attention says absolutely nothing about one's desire for it. They are unrelated.

2. Its not that hard? As someone who recently spent 2 months mulling over several job offers I couldn't disagree more.

This is really unfair.

The frenzy is caused by the fans. Ray Allen wants to take some time to make his decision also. Thing is, nobody cares because he does not have the ability to turn a franchise around singlehandedly. The fact that every move LeBron makes is so meticulously scrutinized by everyone, makes this decision that much more difficult.

Instead of getting mad at LeBron, direct you anger at those who give it so much attention.

:lame:

Easy for you to say, you aren't the one that has preesure on you every second by billions and especially the fact he wants his legacy and career to be the best ever. You and any of us don't know how hard this decision is for him.

You Heat fans I would think would understand more than others, you haven't been very kind to Lebron dueing this process and sounds like you would dog him if he left. Very disappointing...smh

I guess when he is quiet he is still artogant, selfish, and an attention whore. Everyone else is just being impatient, most people are pathetic these days. Everything has to happen NOW, well that isn't the smart move.
