Yep. But they are going to pay heavily into the tax & receive nothing from revenue sharing. It is how Brooklyn was able to absorb all that money on there cap. They paid a heavy tax bill.

The CBA is a big convoluted mess. There is no real salary cap in the NBA unless you do A, B, or C & don't want any part of D or E.

Who knows at this point....if he wants to go back home, then doubt he wants or needs to talk to the owner of Cleveland. Would be odd that he has not talked to the new coach or GM but I think they probably met over the weekend as the Cleveland owner's plane was in Ft. Lauderdale on Sunday.
