I agree with what KennyBanyeah posted a little while ago, in all honesty, I think the speed of today's game has made Doan "a dinosaur" (i.e. he can't keep up anymore and as a result, resorts to cheap shots at times to make an impact).

why though? for his leadership for JT? its about the only thing he would be good for on the Islanders. Ive actually never thought he's been a good leader, dirty, on the line and strong yes but leader has never hit me with him.

My guess is,he went to Montreal to hit up the strip clubs-nothing more.
