comes and goes its going to happen. they were scoring at a insane pace and you knew they wouldnt/couldnt keep it up. think its just that part of the season where they just want the playoffs to start.


im more impressed that our defense/goalies have given up only 6 goals in 4 games 3 of which were losses. take the cup champs to overtime keep the east leading rangers to a goal and keep ovechkin off the scoreboard. not all that is bad.


still have to believe that over 2 weeks and 7 games that kovalchuk/parise will make a difference in a series. this team is too talented to miss the playoffs unless something freaky happens. just get in and try to win 16 games.

Not making excuses for the offense but was it just me or was the Nassau Collisium ice horrible on Sunday?

Pucks were bouncing all over the place for both teams..it could've been just bad passing and the usual lethargic Sunday afternoon game but idk.

Any of the players mention anything about it?

ilya's hit a bit of a cold streak. It's just evening out over the course of the season. We just need to find a bit more consistency and we'll be fine. That should come as the forwards are getting healthier.

yeah but the ice at pru center sucks too so the devils should be use to it. i find nothing worse then afternoon hockey games the nhl should really just do away with them

Two things:

1st: Every d man on this team looked like total shit at the beginning of the season. Zid looked great against the Rangers.

2nd: Poor Havelid. He was actually really good for us. He just needed to make one clear, and didn't.

This is the Kovalchuk we need in the playoffs. 2 games now where he is just wreaking havoc in the other teams end. He is really fun to watch when he plays to his capabilities.
