It isn't. You have to buy playstation plus. But assuming they keep it similar to on the ps3, it has some value on it's own. People were paying for it without being required to to play online.

Yeah, they're charging $50 a year for Playstation Plus. IMO, I think PSPlus is still way behind compared to XBox Live.
