Having watched a lot of basketball this weekend, I think I would rank the final 16 teams this way:

1) Kansas: Dominated their first 2 games
2) Kentucky: Probably played a much more difficult path than most 2 seeds should play
3) Arizona
4) Gonzaga: I still don't think they can win it, but man they have looked good
5) Wisconsin: Really played well so far
6) Michigan: They've given up a TON points, but they have been lights out offensively to make up for it
7) UNC: They didn't look that good against Arky.
8) Baylor
9) Florida: It's hard to criticize them cause they just keep winning in this tourney.
10) Xavier: They just seem to be rolling.
11) West Virginia
12) UCLA
13) Purdue
14) Butler
15) South Carolina
16) Oregon: I put them here because I'm hoping they play badly when Michigan plays them! :D

If you're going to take into account the whole season, including 2 games in the tournament, this is how'd I rank them:

1. Kansas
2. Gonzaga
3. Kentucky
4. UNC
5. Arizona
6. UCLA
7. West Virginia
8. Florida
9. Baylor
10. Butler
11. Michigan
12. Purdue
13. Oregon
14. Wisconsin
15. South Carolina
16. Xavier

Oregon gets dropped lower than they otherwise would be because of the Boucher injury.

Since there are numerous ways to do this I'll preface my rankings with the assertion that my opinion is solely based on the likelihood of the team winning the national title. This means I'll look at a teams path as well.

2. Wisconsin
3. Arizona
4. North Carolina
5. UCLA
6. Gonzaga
7. Michigan
8. Baylor
9. Florida
10. South Carolina

I'm going to base it off of which teams I think will make the Elite 8, then I'll rank the top 8 l think will lose from there...
  1. Kansas - The Jayhawks have an easy time moving to the Elite 8, and face an undermanned Ducks team.
  2. North Carolina - Butler gives them a run for their money, but they will be favored vs either UCLA or Kentucky.
  3. Arizona - Mack can't save the Musketeers from the stifling Wildcat defense.
  4. UCLA - Will need to beat Cal's Freshman 3 consecutive times & it could go either way. The Xfactor, Lonzo.
  5. Gonzaga - The full court press tests the Zags, and they wont be able to play big, but they squeak out a win.
  6. Baylor - SC's turnaround is done as the Bear zone troubles shooters to make enough shots.
  7. Wisconsin - Hayes, Koenig, & defense will need to keep Gator's Robinson off the boards, FL may win if not.
  8. Oregon - This will be a close one, but Dorsey does what Dorsey does best, hit's the game winner! ........................
  9. Kentucky - The best not to move on, Cal needs some senior mix and it shows up vs UCLA.
  10. Butler - Holtman tries his best to dictate pace, but UNC runs late and stretches a close game in the end.
  11. Florida - Could have them higher, but losing to Wiskey as the higher seed has them behind Butler.
  12. Michigan - They play their hearts out once again but their TV movie sees it's end in dramatic fashion!
  13. South Carolina - No comeback here, as the Bear zone was too much to handle late.
  14. West Virginia - If they win, they wont go far as the Final 8's guard play will break the full court press down.
  15. Xavier - O'Mara struggles vs the Wildcat Defense, great tourney, played well over expectations!
  16. Purdue - Where would the Boilermakers be without Caleb? Stay tuned, because you're about to find out.

Yeah it's all about the path for me. Kentucky is obviously better than 15th of the remaining 16 but they'd have to beat UCLA and UNC just to reach the Final 4 ( for example )

That's because I think they lose to Gonzaga this week. I ranked them based on whom I thought would be in the elite 8.

If that's the case, I don't follow....
1) Kansas: Dominated their first 2 games

Wisconsin at 5, and then Florida at 9 doesn't make sense to me. Nor having Kenntucky at 2 and UCLA at 12.

BTW - I thought your post was funny because from your comments or lack there of, it seems like you don't really know anything about the teams out West.

Amirite?

More of a B10 homer on Wisconsin, although I really think they win this weekend.

I definitely don't follow any of the West teams though.

I get the logic. He thinks UK is going beat UCLA and UNC and he thinks the winner of the Florida/Wisconsin game is going to the Final 4. Where it went a little weird was having WISKY 5 and Gonzaga 4. Seems they should be switched but maybe he thinks the East champ can't win the title.

Oregon - This will be a close one, but Dorsey does what Dorsey does best, hit's the game winner!
Michigan - They play their hearts out once again but their TV movie sees it's end in dramatic fashion!
Pretty much nailed it coming down to a final shot scenario. Dorsey does get the final defensive rebound on Oregon's final trip trip down the court, which turned out to be the clock killing game winning possession.
Gonzaga - The full court press tests the Zags, and they wont be able to play big, but they squeak out a win.
West Virginia - If they win, they wont go far as the Final 8's guard play will break the full court press down.
Nailed this one spot on! The Zags were tested and just did squeak out the win, really a game they could have lost.
