What do you think we're going to do about it? We all want Giancarlo Stanton, but that's not looking good. So does everyone and their mom. What about this Jose Abreu guy? I know there's other options besides Stanton. Aren't there some other Cuban sensations that are ready like Cespedes and Puig were? I only know of Abreu. I know there's one that plays at 2B too. I think with the big $ coming we should take a risk and bid. I want a Puig. I want a Cespedes. We have the flexibility. Could you imagine picking up 1 or 2 of those Cuban sensations (not always a sure bet) and just letting everyone else worry about trying to get Stanton. That way we keep the farm intact. So we pay to take a risk, instead of trading. EDIT: I stand corrected. I guess it's a long shot Abreu ends up at a Corner OF spot.
