TSN had a special on John Candy a few years back, I didn't know that he was a highly regarded football player in high school until he suffered a pretty serious knee injury and basically had to give up on his football aspirations and turned to comedy. He loved the Argos and it was great when he became a part-owner of the team because he traveled to all the away games and I happened to be at McMahon Stadium one time when the Argos were in town. Our section got an "Uncle Buck" chant going and he turned, smiled and waved at us. Great guy.
