To be fair, he’s actually done a nice job in rallying the troops and getting them to play hard. Although the wins have been sparse, what happens to Bill Callahan time in D.C?

It all depends on what happens to Allen. If he stays, then Callahan may be our only option. Kinda like when Zorn got the job. No one else would take it.

I know we all bash Snyder from time to time and he has deserved criticism however, he cannot be this stupid can he? Granted, his main source of revenue for the team is TV but, empty stadium, no apparel selling and no beer or hotdogs selling game day has to hurt the bottom line. He has to know that "if" he keeps Allen around, the fan base will completely erode to nothing.

Not for head coach. If the New coach wants him a o line coach that would be fine. No team is going to offer this guy a head coaching or OC position.

Apparel = shared profit by NFL -- doesn't hurt Dan
Beer and dogs at the stadium = Dan's $$$ --- that is a lot of money at the prices they charge.

Hell I was in Wells Fargo Arena a few weeks ago and paid $14 for (as they called it) a one liquor drink. :rolleyes2:

This team needs a complete diaper change. I hope Snyder dont just open it up; scoop the shit out and put it back on the infant team and hope for no ass rash. New coach, new attitude, new day.

I'd say zero, but Callahan gained my respect. The team has more injuries and is still much more competitive and disciplined under him than they were under Jay.

He had no problem benching big name players and save for the Jets game, which was basically a player revolt because of how hard he worked them over the bye week, that have played hard and look prepared from the opening snap.

I don't want him to be the next HC, mainly because this team, front office included, needs a total reboot. I'd keep Kyle and send everyone else packing.

Bill coached his ass off imo.

Callahan did a nice job as an interim coach. He did get the players to play ummm I guess hard. Not really well.

Gruden was a better coach but he was dead man walking, the players knew it, Jay knew it, the fans knew it. In his middle four years he had the team one game under .500 and no one else in the Snyder era can say that. Ultimately I think Jay was Norv like. Players liked him but did not play for him.

On to the next coach.

Callahan added discipline, which clearly was lacking under Gruden.

That’s about the long and the short of his head coaching tenure: disciplined, boring, predictable, uninspiring football.
