Just for the record the decline started with Gibbs retirement so before Snyder.
Snyder never hired a competent personnel director.
Who me?1993 - 4-12
1994 - 3-13
1995 - 6-10
1996 - 9-7
1997 - 8-7-1
1998 - 6-10
Never said Snyder wasn't a problem. Those records are post Gibbs and pre Snyder. I stand by my original statement. Stop trolling.

1999, 2000, 2001... three QBs under center... is that the three game stretch we were 500 or better? Jesus.. when has this team ever since Theismann had a QB to play 48 straight games and lead the league, or been right up there with the top Qb’s stat wise? Joey had Riggins and a number of pretty good RBs not to even mention a great line. I dont really care what weve done since inception of this club.. only under Snyder do I care... and under Snyder we have never been this well balance under center. So really to answer the original thread question... aoOur chance of making the playoffs is 90 percent providing they retain KC and can stay healthy with a few added pieces.
Yep, the ONLY time since 16 games became the norm. Geeeeeez, dude get off of, or seek help for your Kirk blindness. It's Gruden's offense that has been largely responsible of this. Granted Kirk was a part of it....but just a part.
Now this is the part that makes my point, and your addition to it (3 QB's under center) interesting for this Particular team. Maybe in your quest to tout Kirk you missed it, so, here are the stats.
Under Snyder (which you only care about) this team regularly wins 10 games every 6.5 years. So while it would be nice to have Kirk under center when it happens in 2018 (or 2019 depending on how you want to read it), it's going to happen with or without him, statistically speaking. Do the math yourself, 1999 then again in 2005 and finally in 2012.
BTW: Since you want to keep pushing the Kirk BS, 10 wins in 2018 with all that greatness and stability under center will be the first time that it happens in the Snyder era with the same QB in place. Oh yeah, Kirk won't be there, let's not forget that little tid bit. (My opinion)
Hey, but we get that one season of 'hey look at us' (until playoffs start anyway) every five years under the Snyder rule. Don't blame him for not getting excited for having a QB that keeps us afloat with mediocre and injury riddled players all around him and being so close to becoming a sustainable and competitive team such as NO, Atl, GB, Balt, Pitt year after year to name just a few.Don't get too upset with reptec. Cuz while you are indeed correct from a stats-standpoint about the Redskins blue-moon 10 season being right around the corner. Sadly so is reptec correct from a stats-standpoint about the Skins swan diving right back to the bottom of the toilet the following year after winning 10 games in a season in the Snyder era.
1999/10-6 - 2000 /8-8 3rd place finish
2005/10-6 - 2006/5-11 cellar dwellers
2012/10-6 - 2013/3-13 cellar dwellers
5.3 wins per year for 00, 06, and 13.

If my calculations are correct we are due for that 10 win season again. Must mean we're about to move up in the draft to that very exciting first or second position and grab that can't miss QB.... until he fizzles the following season, that is. Good times ahead.
