Anybody watching this on CNN?

Molotov cocktails, guys on camels & horses( (pro Mubarak) running down protesters. The military have sat back for a bit, but it seems its only a matter of time until they start coming out again. Both sides have amassed again right outside a historical museum and have set up barricades.

Been following it for the past hours.. shit is getting crazy. Anderson Cooper & his camera crew almost got their heads bashed in earlier in the day. you got to be INSANE to be an American reporter on the ground in the midst of their crisis.

Crazy shit.

Last night they were saying that apparently the White House has pressured Mubarak into not running in elections he's supposedly proposing for September.

What our IDIOTS in D.C. don't understand is the people of Egypt want him out NOW.

It's high time the U.S. government, and other western organizations/agencies, stopped defending these despots in the middle east. It foments anti-US sentiment in the short term and swings the political pendulum too much.

Mubarak has to go but the anti-American backlash of their having defended TERRIBLE Egyptian regimes will be that whenever Mubarak is ousted he will, in all likelihood, be replaced by some fundamentalist asswipe.

It's time for the US in particular, and the west in general, to let these people do their own thing for better or worse.

what I don't get is China is a HUGE consumer of oil from the middle east. Yet we don't see them meddling in with all the turmoil over there. Let dumb asses like the US to try and quell the riots and uprisings and "terrorism" that would affect oil distribution.

We need to start drilling in our own soil. set up the military along the mexican border and call it a day.
