US ARMY retired /mod.
bounced back pretty well vs the ravens . wasnt perfect but at least the "bad game " theory could hold more water
no its not , they did well in that aspect vs the browns and the lions . the ravens are a good defense and again this is preseason . we are 3-0 but it feels like we are still a 6 win teamLine didn't do much with run blocking against the Ravens 1s. That is a real concern. I know the Ravens have a strong run defense, but we did nothing against them.

So Country, let's be clear here. Was play calling was an issue last night?
Pass protection was better but for a team claiming to make their identity by running the ball the lack of a running game by the starters was pretty concerning. No I was not seeing much of a bounce back other than the obvious, Trent replacing Willie.
one game in the preseason isnt the end all be all . the 2 previous games run blocking was good
Not sure why you think the run blocking was so good in the Lions game myself.

The pass protection was definitely worse than the run blocking, but it's worth noting that nearly half of the Redskins' rushing yards came on three plays, each of which came past the midway point of the second quarter. Jay Gruden mentioned the Lions having the second-best defense in the league last year, but he failed to mention the departures of Ndamukong Suh and Nick Fairley, as well as the absence of prized free-agent signing Haloti Ngata. The starting defense the Lions trotted out on Thursday night would be average at best throughout a full season.
I've never stated it won't come together eventually. Simply stated I felt run blocking was a concern, preseason or not.the rushing yards count they did ok . i am not worried about it because the preseason is the preseason . as our young right side gets more experience it will all come together
with Williams suspension ... the questions becomes
do they just plug in Tye Nsekhe
OR
possibly move Mosses to LT ... Scherff to RT and Nsekhe into the guard spot
That 2nd scenario seems like an awful lot of shifting around for an OLine that's not playing bad ball as they are presently assembled. I think I'd just try and replace Trent, at least as my first alternative, before moving everyone around.
