I hate that they don't do the weekend series. I rarely, if ever, go to games anymore but the Subway Series was always one that I targeted. During the week I can't make it.

This just in.....

NEW YORK -- (5/12) -- Rafael Montero is due to join the Mets for the Subway Series and will start Wednesday, Sandy Alderson confirmed.

Jenrry Mejia will move to the bullpen.

Also, Jacob deGrom will be scratched from Monday's Las Vegas start. That will preserve the ability to call him up in the next few days for a relief role.
