Nyles Morgan Named to FWAA Freshman AA Team

I found this somewhat surprising, as he clearly struggled at times, but congratulations nonetheless.

His numbers, seeing as how he had limited appearances were pretty impressive. 47 Tackles, 3.5 TFL, .5 sacks and a pass breakup and a QB hurry.

I think the FWAA sees promise there, that's why he got the nod. Also, first ND player since Keivarre Russell to earn the honors.

Fangio was suppose to make a little over 2 mill. Tomsula is about to make 2-3 million they are saying. To me they took the cheap way out and found their yes man at the HC position. The good new Tomsula said he will let his OC do his thing and wont dip his spoon into it. Almost the same for the DC. He will give his insight on the D.

Good for him, although he won b/c a lack of options at the position...it's hard for a MLB to step in as a true FROSH. Martini was more deserving, IMO, but wasn't as highly ranked coming in...but played much better than Miles.

Morgan, if that first step was wrong, he was toast...and that happened a lot. He looked like he had roller skates on at times.

Even though he didn't play terrific it's hard for freshman to step into a position like that and get the number of tackles he did in the time he had. I do believe he will be a stud in a year or two.
