I found this somewhat surprising, as he clearly struggled at times, but congratulations nonetheless.
His numbers, seeing as how he had limited appearances were pretty impressive. 47 Tackles, 3.5 TFL, .5 sacks and a pass breakup and a QB hurry.
I think the FWAA sees promise there, that's why he got the nod. Also, first ND player since Keivarre Russell to earn the honors.
