Actually, the serotonin from the carbs accentuates trytophan because if you eat just turkey for T-day, you won't be sleepy at all compared if you add the stuffing, sweet potatoes, mashed potatoes, and peas. And then add the pie and you'll be snoozing for a while.

Yep CL67. If you eat the pig and the turkey and no carbs, the protein tryptophan will not make you sleepy nearly at all.
