All i see people on this forum and the NFL.com site doing is arguing their voice out through post messages. I have stated several times that " the people, the fans" need to pull together and protest in front of Stan's front office where ever the hell that is. Fans need to speak out against everything that you posting about, and Fisher not speaking about. I am all for it, but one person showing up isn't going to get much attention by the media. We all have questions i'm sure we would love to ask the reporters but we can't because we are all sitting on our a** posting our concerns. But if anyone decide to want to do something help arrange a rally hit me up [email protected] because we are probably watching this team rally it's way out of town and to blind to see it and to slow to help do anything about it. We all have a voice.

While I admire this guys get up and go you might as well be pissing in a fan for all the good it would do. We cant even get a majority too agree on any one thing on this board much less all the Rams fans everywhere. And to boot these things just don't work. Some have noted that there may be more going on with the Rams than we know sort of the conspiracy theory thing. That could be don't know. I do know whatever is going on Rams management could careless what we think about it. The passed ten years or so have proven that. " Everytime we say its a game, you say its a business and everytime we say its a business you say its a game."

:nod:I agree ozarkram, and we can pick any sport. The fans do buy the tickets, hats, shirts and hot dogs but we do for passion, not for a team win or loss. 50+ years I been rooting Rams, Dodgers and Lakers and not one suggestion of mine has been used but ya know, I don't expect them to listen to me either. I played football at a decent level, coached high school football as OC, DC, QB coach, OL coach, ST coach and rah rah guy for 15 seasons back a few years and not one time did the public comment in our town be the main decision on the field work. HC, OC, DC, ST and staff do their own thing by what we saw on film, scouting and talking to other coaches, the public liked the results, the HC stayed, they did not like it the HC left. In each instance I was retained for some reason but it was the HC that answered to public critizing a record for a season. We can or not like what we see from Fisher or Shotts or D-Loser but in the end, we can't and won't be asked to make up the Xs & Os or who plays and when. This is our vent forum and we will have to use it or not, knowing that it goes to deft ears as far as the overall picture but makes us feel better just saying it. Hey, I feel better now!

Great post Blue. There are many knowledgeable posters here who know the In's and out's of the game like yourself. Who would more than likely do a better job than the current coaching staff(we would all like to think we could but in reality would probably fall short including myself) Boards like these are for the fans to vent as you say and sometimes it does feel good. I have always felt if ownership and coaches paid some attention to boards and fan posts they might learn something but who knows its still fun.

I agree Ozark

It's difficult to discuss real NFL football organizations reasons and actions as in the St. Louis Rams team and there past struggles realistically on a Board when there are only a handful of posters who actually know inner workings of this team. I know all about this method but like so many I come here to vent and throw in opinions and to see the responses and other posters take. It doesn't matter how many times we bich about this organization they will continue on in the plan they seem fit for this Franchise now and into the future. Next seasons draft is going to be a very interesting situation for this organization on who they are going to draft 1st round and we are going to see a bombardment of QB talk come up. I figure next season could be a repeat of this season depending on the draft, QB, Coaching staff and lets throw in the stadium issue's. I feel like I have been watching a rerun of the Wizard of Oz and the scarecrow and the Tin man which way do we go!

With Sam being hurt and the general disarray at backup. I believe talk of a QB at draft time would be only natural. We have needs, O-line being my first concern at this point and there is BPA to consider. If nothing else it will be interesting. Seems a shame really talking draft this early in the season.

That is what fans on losing teams do. They look foward to the future as the source of hope for change that would get us back to where we want for this club as we get disappointed each year earlier and earlier. This year was a diappointment because all of the advertised hope for a continuance of progress for success took a turn for the worse and steps backward to what appears to be a default modus operandi for the Rams-losing and alot of it.

These boards are never going to be an outlet from the fans voice directly to the coach's ear, but it wouldn't surprise me if some of the players checked in occasionally to some of the more popular sites. We know that some of the owners are on twitter responding to the fans. If anybody would ever strike a cord during one of those times with an owner, it just might make it back to the coaches. Although not very probable I admit.

Whether it be through some yet unknown or unexplained phenomena, we all like to think that we had some influence on our team's success. We also live vicariously through our teams because we entertain ideas that if we had a few breaks we could have played pro sports just like our favorite players on the field. Of course if we come back to reality we realize that it's all just a pipe dream, but it's still fun to have our illusions.

Are not illusions part and parcel contributors to the definition of a fanatic or fan? The answer is yes.
