Weren't you the 1 who said it wouldn't happen. A guy w/ 3.5 sacks , who couldn't beat a double team.
Love to see them sign him, just so you could eat some crow.

I said his price tag will be too much as opposed to Bennet..........the fact are the guy couldn't beat a double team and only had 3.5 sacks..... the Bears will not pay him 11+ mil

Bennett or Johnson... If the Bears can get one of these done that will be a good step in the right direction. The Bears really need to shore the run D, the Achilles for the Bears from last season, so last year's sack performance does not hold as much interest to me as it apparently does others.

Thats a big 10-4.............Lets worry about that at a later time.Like when the cuts come during the preseason games.
There are always casualties there...........

we dont need sack machines, we need a defensive line that will keep 300 pounders off our linebackers so they can tackle.

Peppers was a key for lovie in the cover two, the only DE out there that is that capacity is Greg Hardy back in Carolina that signed the franchise tender.

I guess Jared Allen put 5 teams on a list to contact him, Denver, Green Bay, and I think Washington. He is gonna just be a third down guy at 32.
