Nov 7th polls

Don't be surprised if Nebraska doesn't move up much in the human polls this week.

In the Coaches, even though Alabama, Utah, and Oklahoma lost ahead of NU, Nebraska looked unimpressive again against a weaker foe and LSU and Stanford (who were behind us) won big games. I think Nebraska stays 9th.

The Harris had NU 11th with Wisconsin, Ohio St and Stanford already ahead of NU, but LSU will likely be rewarded for their win. I project Nebraska up to 9th there..

The Big XII is percieved to be one the weakest BCS conferences at this time.

Due to the Missouri and Oklahoma losses Saturday. I expect Nebraska to remain @ 7th in the BCS calculation even though Alabama and Utah lost ahead of them.

I agree with this.

I can't even disagree with the pollsters. We have the worse loss of any one loss team. Texas should lose to Okie St & A&M and probably won't make a bowl game this year The Big 12 is having a horrible year with knocking each other off to make us look weaker than this conference may actually be.

IF we were undefeated at this point, I think we would be 5th in the polls right now (behind Oregon, Auburn, TCU, and Boise St). Maybe we would be above Boise St.

I remember saying yesterday, "if Oklahoma, Missouri, and Nebraska all win out we're gonna be good to go"

Well Oklahoma and Missouri both lost, and Nebraska won because ISU's holder couldn't throw a spiral.

I think LSU and Wisconsin will both jump us in the BCS.......and that will actually mostly be a reflection of Missouri's loss to Tech.

I was looking this morning..and I don't see where any Big XII team has beat a non conf that is currently in the top 25. (This is assuming Fl State isn't in the polls).

Yea I kinda thought Washington would be a 25-30 ranked team this season...........but let's face it, Pederson set us up with that OOC schedule

Just looking at the rest of what happened after focusing in great length at results that would hurt Nebraska in the computer rankings.

Oregon St lost to UCLA and are now (4-4)

Oregon St lost to both TCU and Boise St and had been helping somewhat with their sos.

Baylor also lost..They had been helping TCU's sos..

TCU last week had a CPU % of .9100

Me thinks that's gonna take a hit with both Oregon St and Baylor losing

Boise St was .8000..Oregon St may have lost but Va Tech won.

Nebraska's was .7800

Wisconsin's was .5600
Stanford was .5300
Ohio St was .4300

its weak because the OOC sucked and we had a bad loss (Texas vs UCLA) with not one quality win. Doesn't really matter what we do to each other.
