From today's game. As expected, we could have put up a crazy amount of points, but let off the gas in the second half.

We came out and showed that we are far better than a USC-like team who scraped out a 2 point victory over Minnesota earlier this season.

We are a top 15 team, and next week's game against Michigan State should be one hell of a matchup.

Agree.

But cannot play this sloppy and hang with Sparty. The blackshirts not going to scare them that's for damn sure.

I think that first half was some pretty solid football. We had the one boneheaded option-toss by Taylor on 3rd and goal from the 1........but other than that, we played pretty clean football.

Only committed 5 penalties and had 0 turnovers. 1 of those penalties was with Brion under center, and another was one we commited on purpose to back the punting unit up another 5 yards.

Aside from that, we had 515 total yards of offense......much of which came in the first half when we had the foot on the gas, and we held Minnesota to 254 yards of total offense.
