Yep. A dumb move by Jerry. Dallas leads the NFL in penalties every season due to Jones meddling with Godell in 2017.

The article makes sense. Snyder and Jones obviously did not like that time the NFL took away cap space from Cowboys and skins. I am also sure that the Giants were partly responsible for Zekes suspension.

The Maras and Rooneys are head and shoulders above every other owner in the league in terms of pull and influence. As powerful as Jerry thinks he is that's a losing battle.

Who knows how much of this is true. I don't have any reason to doubt it and am sure there is some truth in there, but I don't really see any proof other than comments from a guy who is about as reliable as Jerry and Snyder are. Take the 3 of them and Goodell and put them all on a desert Island for all I care
