Some real questionable selections if ya ask me but it was doomed from the start with 4 Sens in the starting lineup. Guess that really means a lot to em up in Ottawa.

To think that guys like Perry , Seguin , Koivu and Michaelek deserved it over Parise is crazy.

Good news to me.
1) Like MC said, they get rest.
2) This news probably pissed the players off. Hope to see them raise their games even more for the 2nd half.

They should just make the allstar game the winter classic. Have it rotating all over the country. North dakota one year Maine another Rhode island etc etc.

This way you dont have to worry about getting this team in it or that team has been in it too much.

^^^^This like i said repeating the same teams gets old and the game just becomes another boring gimmick .Big surprise lowest rated classic this year.This is one of the best ideas i've heard plus it would get the winter classic away from the bowl games.However fan voting needs to be fixed snd each team should have atleast one rep

You gurantee that the games best players are always on the winter classic. You get a different unique location that grows the game. Only problem is its not a real hockey game. But then again just because it counts in the standings doesn't mean the current situation counts much either.


Will say this teams that play in the classic seem.to make it to the finals majority of the time
