I have no idea how good Alabama will be this year. I am always nervous this time of the year. I know we have tons of talent, but that doesn't always make a good team.

But I'm pretty sure if he turns out to be correct, it will be purely coincidental.

I was surprised he didn't mention the O-Line. From what I've read, CB could end up being a strength for us this year, which I didn't think was possible, but as far as secondary the worry was on the FS.

All I know is that he and I agree that it will be the QB play that determines their success. I saw Coker play for short period of time FSU v. Wake last year. Not very impressed. But, we shall see.

any time you start a new quarterback, there are doubts, growing pains, adjustments. Bama has a better chance to succeed with a new one than most, but still is question.


But that is what makes the season so great, we just are not totally sure what we are going to get.

Agree. If one of these guys can come out and just play mistake free, we'll be ok. What we don't need is someone that is going to throw dumb passes and interceptions, trying to be a "play-maker". We don't need a great QB, but we do need a smart one. People have given the term "game manager" a bad rap, but it takes a smart QB to control this offense and not make dumb mistakes.
