Stupid question. But what does Hoop Cash do?

And yall vote for me cause I have none. Think of me as that poor man holding a sign up on the street corner. ;)

:dhd::dhd::dhd::dhd:

But for real what does SportsHoopla cash do for ya? I see it next to my name for 3 years now but never knew what it was about.
You can use it to bet on games through the SportsHoopla bookie or betting exchange up top. Give it to the guy with the sign on the SportsHoopla street corner. Or spend it on vHookers :dhd: Seriously you had a great draft hoping to see you around the drafts again :suds:

Man, the academic application of Newton's Third Law is kicking my ass. So glad I am not going into physics - I don't think I'd pass my first physics course.
I decided it'd be smart to take Physics 200 over the summer once. Jamming a semester into six weeks or whatever. After not taking Physics since HS.

That C felt so damn good.

I have 6 drafts where I really don't think they could've done any better in my eyes. Tough to put that in order

i agree that this is an impossible mock to judge.... there are teams with not many picks, teams without first rounders, and then teams with all the top picks... how can you consider them all to be equal??

Steelers mock recap:

1.28 : Rashaan Evans - LB - Alabama
2.28 : Jessie Bates - S - Wake Forest
3.28 : B.J. Hill - DT - North Carolina St.
5.11 : Jeff Holland - OLB - Auburn
5.28 : Tarvarus McFadden - CB - Florida St.
7.2 : Martez Carter - RB - Grambling St.
7.28 : Quadree Henderson - WR - Pittsburgh

Very happy with this draft. The first 2 picks were exactly how we wanted them to go from the beginning. We didn't think Evans would fall, and had Justin Reid as our backup choice. If both were gone, then we were debating trading out of the 1st Rd. Luckily for us the pieces fell right into our laps. We filled our 2 biggest needs with the first 2 picks. Evans is a Shazier clone, and Bates is a criminally underrated safety. Both will push to start week 1. From there it was all about finding contributors & depth pieces capable of handling sub package roles to make the team better as a whole. Hill could carve out a role on 4-down linemen sets & spell Hargrave inside. Holland could contribute in the pass rush, just like his predecessor Carl Lawson did with the Bungals (Holland had a better statistical senior year at Auburn I might add). McFadden is a CB with great size & length. He may struggle at this level with his speed & grabbing, but he has the ball skills & intelligence to compete in zone schemes. Carter & Henderson are the hidden gems of this draft. If you watch Carter's tape, he will remind you of Ray Rice. Small frame, but powerful runner with surprising quickness & great hands to boot. Henderson is a speed demon with great vision. He excelled as a return specialist (something the Steelers need) and he was a great gadget player on offense (something the Steelers could use in the no-huddle).

I'm loving this draft @ATL96Steeler & @SteelersPride! Good teamwork gents.

WASHINGTON REDSKINS

1.13 : Minkah Fitzpatrick - CB/S - Alabama
2.12 : Nick Chubb - RB - Georgia
4.9 : Derrick Nnadi - DT - Florida St.
5.5 : Tegray Scales - LB - Indiana
5.26 : Daurice Fountain - WR - Northern Iowa
6.31 : Chase Litton - QB - Marshall
7.13 : Sean Welsh - G/C - Iowa
7.23 : Marcus Baugh - TE - Ohio St.

Team Needs:
1. RB
2. DT
3. Secondary
4. LB
5. G

Fitzpatrick helps the Redskins either at Corner or Safety which they both need after trading CB Fuller to Chiefs for Alex Smith & at Safety where they traded Safety Sua Cravens to Denver.

Chubb will finally fill the running back spot on the 3 downs which the Redskins have needed for the past few years.

After Vea & Payne off the board at NT the Redskins gets a steal at DT in the 4th round with Nnadi. He can help the Skins in either the 4-3 or 3-4 packages and won’t be taken out of the game as much as other prior 3-4 DT’s.

Tegray Scales lead the Nation in solo tackles (93) & 23.5 tackles for loss plus was the Big10 leader in tackles and can play sideline to sideline. He fills a need for the Redskins who lost Trent Murphy in free agency and with so many injuries for the Redskins at LB they could use Scales who stayed healthy all 4 years.

WR wasn’t a huge priority but was needed to help Alex Smith and adding Daurice Fountain certainly does that. A good size 6’1 210lb player with speed can help stop teams from doubling up on Paul Richardson especially if Josh Doctson is fully healthy this year.

Alex Smith is 34yrs old and how long will he be in the league is unknown so developing a QB to replace him in a few years will be needed. Not a top priority for the Redskins and that’s why getting a good quarterback in Chase Litton in the 6th round was great value. His decision making skills need to be worked on and having Jay Gruden as his coach will really benefit him to develop.

Redskins need depth at guard and at center and that’s why Sean Welsh from where else do you get big offensive lineman but Iowa is the perfect person for the job. The kid is big, strong, has a nasty streak, and like I said can play different spots on the line.

With my last pick in the 7th round I chose to take a flyer on Ohio States Tight End Marcus Baugh who didn’t play much his first few years but shows a lot of potential if given the chance to prove himself. With Redskins Jordan Reed neverstaying healthy for a full season I thought taken a tight end was probably a need they should address late in the draft.

May I ask why didn’t you address QB with Big Ben maybe retiring next year? I don’t know if Steelers already have a good backup on the roster or not. Just asking.

With Ben under contract through 2019 we are in "all-in" or "win now" mode... Whatever you want to call it. We aren't concerned about the future with this draft. Hence why we also didn't feel the need to draft a RB very high. We went into this mock wanting to fill the current holes, and with the rest, as I said earlier, find capable contributors.

Plus the only QBs we would have contemplated were gone.

The Chargers ended the season 9-7 and missed the playoffs in a tiebreaker... That being said, they are in “win right now” mode as Rivers is probably on his last couple years... With that mentally and the draft position I was in, BPO trumped team needs because imo the team really needs depth and playmakers...

1.17 : Da'Ron Payne - DT - Alabama - ranked the #1/2 NT in the draft this was a no brainer... Chargers struggled vs the run last year and Payne excelled vs the run... with 2 probowl outside rushers to worry about, Payne should wreak havoc inside...

2.16 : Hayden Hurst - TE - South Carolina - I saw some thought this to be a bad pick, to that I say selecting the BP at his position can’t be that bad... While they have Hunter Henry and Gates still, Hurst has the luxury of learning from an all time great as well as time to figure out the pro game... With the Melvin Gordon as the future, having a double TE set with 2 guys who are huge threats up the middle can only help Gordon... Hayden is also known as a good blocker...

3.20 : Equanimeous St. Brown - WR - Notre Dame - at 6’4” 190 pounds he runs a 4.48 40... add precise route running and he could be a nice weapon for Rivers... with Keenan Allen having a huge year, Gordon, and the TEs to fear, St Brown could put up some nice numbers...

4.19 : Nyheim Hines - RB - North Carolina St. - I personally love this pick... 4.38 40, converted WR out the backfield will be a great outlet for Rivers... should be a nice change of pace guy to give Gordon a breather and possibly take over return duties...

5.18 : Ade Aruna - OLB - Tulane - with 2 pro bowlers at this position and really no true needs I went with depth... 6’6”, 262 pounds, 4.6 40, 38.5” vertical, and a 10’8” broad jump both the the best numbers at his position shows the explosiveness is there... he should do well learning from Bosa and Ingram...

6.17 : Alex McGough - QB - Florida International - this was a roll of the dice pick... he’s gotten a lot of buzz for his arm strength and athleticism... with the recent signing of Geno Smith, I decided to take a shot...

7.33 : Greg Senat - OT - Wagner - Great size and athleticism (ex basketball player) he had a great East-West shrine game and should have a shot to compete with Barksdale at RT on day 1 imo...
