I actually debated picking him. He made it to the final 2 but I guess my thought was I see some players I like at that position later in the draft if say he doesn't make it to my next pick but I really don't like any of the other OL players as much as Westerman to actually be a day 1 impact player. So while I had your player rated higher I did go a little more with need on this pick and lack of depth in the draft.
I debated picking him as well just for useful redundancy but I was also figuring that someone would take Joseph at some point and Joseph seemed to more directly help the Chiefs pass defense which is the one area that Id like to solidify in today's NFL.

Joseph was on our top-3 list with Westerman and the guy you are thinking of. I honestly was going to take Joseph if he was there because I think he can be a special talent in this league. The guy just seems to always be around the ball making plays. Without his injury I think he is possibly a top-15 pick this year. So if he can get healthy (and with today's modern medicine that shouldn't be a problem) I think you might have the steal of the draft so far. Honestly you have been the biggest thorn in my side so far in this draft as you have taken my top player both rounds. I would hate if the Chiefs actually have the draft you are having so far.

The two guys I was targeting was William Jackson III in rd1 and Sterling Shepard in rd2. With those 2 off the board, I pretty much just went BPA. The Maclin tampering issue really hurts the Chiefs ability to target players in this draft.

Yeah I had forgotten you lost your 3rd round pick. I'm really thinking about pushing hard to trade up this round if a couple of my guys start falling down the board. I still have a decent number of guys with 2nd round grades available and very surprised they are still there. With my trade back have some fire power to really move up and still have plenty of draft picks to really fill the roster.

I will say the nice thing for you with going BPA like you have is that you still have gotten 2 day 1 impact players that could turn into huge stars a year or two down the road. That is the nice thing about this draft for our teams picking later in the rounds is this draft isn't all that top heavy in my opinion but it does have some depth at some positions of need.

I'd rather keep the B2B picks, already know who I want if the Browns don't mess it up.

This draft has an excellent 2nd-4th round but it seems to fall off a cliff somewhere in rd5 which is to be expected but maybe moreso that normal.

Hunter Henry finally off the board so I don't have to talk about him cryptically. He didn't drop a single pass last year and has only 2 drops in 90 catchable balls in 2 seasons. I thought about pairing him with Kelce just to give Alex Smith another target. Great value at this point imo.

I was very shocked he was there in the 3rd, and with the Chargers needing a TE once Gates does retire it was a no brainer.

@Bolts i gave you a like for your pick but not picks. I like the value you got for Henry. I feel he is a steal in the 3rd round. However my PSU guy Nassib I don't know if he is worthy of early 3rd round pick. He did lead the league in sacks so he isn't horrible. What a amazing story that kid was in college from walk on to stud player.

I almost took Joseph in 2nd round for Redskins after I asked someone ^^^ their opinion then went with Nos's suggestion of taking Bell over Joseph. It's a toss up to me and to many so called experts on the order of safety. Bell is ranked high in ESPN, but not so high in Walter Football. It's the exact opposite for Joseph who is ranked high in Walter but not as high in ESPN. Only time will tell on how these kids play.

We had Cash, Bell, Joesph, in that order, but probably would've had Joesph, Cash, Bell if Joesph was not coming off injury....they were all very close.

Cash looks more like a Mark Barron hybrid S/LB to me. PFF had him as a Weakside LB in the 4-3. Cash does look like a great player for TFLs and run support but I wasn't sure about his fit.

I am a big fan, but after wasting 1sts on Ebron and Pettigrew, there was no way I was taking a TE early

We did like the in the box presence that he brings and felt none of them we "NFL ready" in terms of being strong coverage guys. PIT re-signed Golden and he's going to be the starter this season...some time to coach him up to hopefully be ready to play on DEF in '17.
