Had a feeling the ruckus was about Alexander. The smartest CB in the draft but I think he'll be burnt toast in the NFL once people figure out that he isn't agile or big enough to cover most WRs. Certainly if he actually is able to cover guys then he'll be one of the best players in the whole draft but I'm skeptical.
I think he will have value covering slot, but won't be checking a Julio Jones or AJ Green anytime soon

Seeing Bullard taken before my pick makes me feel better about the trade as he was the guy I was probably going to take at 35 if he was there.

Coleman and Butler going back to back. Those were my last 1st round graded players and perfect fits for both.

I was so excited that Butler was still there. He was who I would have picked at 31 so dropping back and picking up a couple of decent draft picks plus still getting him was a very nice feeling. I do think he is a great fit with the Broncos. Can play NT or DE for them as he has that rare athleticism and size combo that you love to see. Plus he is one of the few guys that does a great job of using his hands to throw guys to the side. He won't be a huge sack guy but he will make life hell for QB's trying to step up in the pocket to avoid Von Miller and company coming from the outside.

Butler was one of the first players I looked at in the draft process. If he get quicker off the snap then he should be the best NT in the draft. Ridiculous arm length should make him an auto double-team candidate on every snap.

Oh I agree. He does seem to have a bit of a hitch in his step to get going. Almost like he stands up to try and figure out where he is going to attack. If they can get rid of that then he could be a beast up the middle for a while. He is one of my top-3 guys I really like for the Broncos. Chris Jones was my top option but SOMEBODY decided to draft him just a couple of picks before mine.
