When your o-line can't get a push on a G5 opponent, then safeties are gonna happen from the one yard line whether you go straight ahead or sideways.

They were probably better off rolling Adrian out and trying for a 10 yd pass.

Oh man I disagree....you never go sideways in your own endzone.

You gotta be busting ass to get out of that position. That is danger zone.
So...

If Allen would've blocked his man and Mo runs for 10 yards, you're still questioning the call?

Tell me this...

Maryland scored 79 & 63 points in their first 2 games with innovative play calls & wide open lanes. Today, they were held to 17 points. What do you attribute to the wide difference in offensive scoring? Do you think the Maryland Coaches suddenly turned into poor play callers?...or did Syracuse play better defense, close down lanes and cause poor execution by Maryland?

I woulda rather seent them call a flea flicker than throw it 20 yards sideways.

Man I tell ye what.....just when I think I’ve seen it all.

YES!!! Yes I am still questioning the call. If he drops that pass and it’s determined to be a lateral the Defense picks it up and it’s an auto-touchdown.

I don’t care if it ended up being successful, that was a bad idea and I would assume Frost will admit it.

Here's the thing though Frost should have overrode that play call

Sounds like you have a lot of fear of what can go wrong.

Sorry to tell you, that can happen on EVERY play from scrimmage.

No....no it can’t. If you’re at the 50 yard line and you drop that pass and the Defense picks it up it’s not a TD.

It’s also not a safety if they tackle you there.

I’m a gambler by nature, so no I’m not afraid of taking risks. That wasn’t really a situation where there was a big payoff if it worked though. Like I said, I woulda rather seen a flea flicker or something that could have resulted in a long pass play.

When I saw that end zone swing pass I thought WTF was that?

Holy crap, are we staggering on the ropes again this week?

I’m so used to this happening to our basketball team that I was on top of it this time lol.

They just scroll a message across the bottom of the screen but they don’t have the commentators mention it or anything. All of a sudden a new show just starts airing.
