Okafor looks bad tonight. I will chalk it up because of the injury.

I really think 1 more year would really help this kid. I know there is no chance he stays but I think one more year would help him.

I don't see anything special about Okafor. Don't get me wrong he is better then most kids in college but Im looking at him as an NBA prospect. I really think he will struggle in the NBA. I think he will be a good defender but I think his offensive game will struggle.

Again this is not a Bash. Im not saying he isn't good in college. I'm looking at his game will translate in the NBA.

On the contrary, it's his defense that needs work. If he went to the NBA right now, Cousins and Pau Gasol would be the only Centers ahead of him offensively.

Okafor is questionable for Saturday's game with Clemson. He absolutely gutted that game out last night in the second half.

Yes he did gut it out and thank god he did. Only 7 Scholarship Players for Saturday, not good.... Tysun needs to go off even more Saturday

True, especially transition D. Last night they got beat way too many times. If Duke was better at the line then the game never goes into OT so they really need to hang their heads on that. Okafor's basically only weakness is FT and he was what 0-6 last night at crucial times.

I think Okafor has a few holes in his game, mainly on the defensive side. FT is certainly another. Both teams were terrible at the lien 50+ and 60. Just gross. Duke performed a rare feat last night. I can not remember a game where I saw a team shoot a higher percentage from the 3 pt lien than the FT line.

True, he does appear to get beaten too easily at times on D. I chalk that up to be lax and just expecting his skills to carry him. Keep in mind he is only a freshman so he will certainly have a weakness somewhere. What sucks is that he and Tyus will be gone next year and Duke will be in trouble

I would worry about the defensive thing, because that is more lazy than anything. Just no excuse for a guy that size with that athleticism to be a defensive liability at times. That isnt likely to chance after you hand him 20 million. It is a red flag for me.
